Students who wish to represent WIS in competition must purchase their playing kit through our kit providers, CollegePro. Each playing shirt is customisable with the players name and number. Please note the number must be allocated by the Sports Office in order to avoid number clashes with other students which would prevent participation in games (it is not possible to play with the same number as a teammate).
No Kit, No Play
We employ a ‘no kit, no play’ rule. This is to ensure that we are able to comply with the regulations set out by the sporting organisations we participate in with regard to matching uniforms, colours, and numbers. For non-team players who participate in CAS sports, we strongly encourage students to purchase a kit for that sport as there will potentially be opportunities to represent the school.
We ask students to purchase kit because:
We want students to feel belonging to a team and pride in representing the school, and share an identity with the community
Feedback from the student voice is that the community values having a personalised shirt with their name
It is not possible for the school to provide, manage, and maintain kit for all 75+ teams; this would equate to over 3000 individual pieces of kit used over the course of an academic year
The kit can be worn in training and fixtures year-round
Students must take responsibility for their own equipment over the course of a season(s)
Kit can be worn over multiple years, providing it still fits! There is no need to buy a new kit every year.
Ordering windows
Families should place orders for kit at the earliest opportunity and at least one sports season before (e.g order window 1 in preparation for Season 2), and this can be seen in the information section for the specific sport. There are 4 ordering windows over the course of the academic year:
How to order sports kit
Football, hockey, basketball, rugby and volleyball require team shirt numbers. The PHE and Sport office must allocate you a sports shirt number before you purchase your kit. This is in order to avoid number clashes with other students which would prevent participation in games (it is not possible to play with the same number as a teammate). If families choose their own number it is likely that children will not be able to play.
Please email kirsten.mcneil@wis.edu.hk for your shirt number.
If you participate in multiple sports, you will need multiple kits with multiple shirt numbers.
Please refer to this How to order-English or How to order-Chinese for purchase instructions.
Please note: There is a recycling box for any unwanted or outsized sports team kit outside of the PHE office. Donations are welcome!
Kits will be delivered to student/family addresses.
Please note that due to the change of domain name and upgraded site, students may need to re-register when logging in for the first time.

How do I know if my child(ren) will be selected for the team?
Whilst not guaranteed, we pride ourselves on giving our students the opportunity to represent WIS and play for the school. We therefore ask families who are signing up for a CAS activity and interested in representing the school to purchase the relevant kit in anticipation of playing in a competition.
My child wants to play but doesn’t have kit. What can I do?
The sports community is large and we suggest borrowing shirts from peers, or approaching the PTA store for old or unwanted kit donations. The Sports Department does not stock spare shirts.
Can I buy kit from the PTA shop?
No, each kit order is bespoke and is not stocked by the PTA.
Can I recycle old kit?
Yes, please donate any old or unwanted kit to the PTA store or the WIS PHE office.
Can my child wear their sports kit to school?
No. Your child must wear school uniform or their dynasty shirt. They can change into their team kit for training and matches.
